Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or related field preferred.
• Graduate of AMA approved two year Respiratory Therapy Program preferred.
• Current CPR certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with scheduling patients, physicians, psychologist, and facilities and performs various admin functions.
• Completes technical reports, processes patient charges, and maintains medical records.
• Identifies and performs basic and intermediate technical troubleshooting and artifact identification/elimination.
• Monitors patients and maintains safety during procedures; communicates with care staff.
• Performs polysomnography procedures under established policies for patients with sleep disorders.
• Prepares patients for testing, explains procedures, answers questions, ensures electrode application is accurate.
• Stocks and maintains supplies/equipment and prepares patient rooms for testing.
