Job summary

Nationwide-Children Hospital seeks an experienced polysomnographic technologist to perform sleep studies for pediatric patients. You will prepare, monitor, and document tests, ensuring electrode placement accuracy and patient safety.

The role requires two years of polysomnography experience and BRPT certification, with CPR current. Applicants should be comfortable working in a pediatric sleep lab environment and completing technical reports and billing information.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Polysomnography.
• Experience in a pediatric environment preferred.
• Certification exam must be passed within first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs polysomnography procedures according to policies and procedures.
• Completes technical reports and processes patient charge information.
• Monitors patients and ensures safety during procedures.
• Prepares patients for testing and applies electrodes accurately.
• Maintains supplies and equipment and ensures proper functioning.
