Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a 1.0 FTE Sleep Technician to perform polysomnography and related respiratory procedures under supervision, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

The candidate should complete an AMA approved two-year Respiratory Therapy program, hold an Ohio respiratory license, NBRC credential (CRT or RRT), CPR, and have at least one year of polysomnography and critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two-year Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or related field preferred.
• Current Ohio license in respiratory care is required.
• NBRC CRT or RRT credential is required; BRPT eligibility desired.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate scheduling and supervise polysomnography technicians and staff.
• Complete technical reports and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot artifacts and monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Prepare patients and ensure proper electrode application and test information.
• Stock and maintain supplies and ensure equipment readiness.
• Perform polysomnography and respiratory procedures following policies.
