Job summary

McClanes Childrens in Temple, TX is seeking a Polysomnography Tech 2 for PRN Nights (12 hour shifts) to coordinate the Sleep Lab operations, monitor quality, and educate patients and families about sleep disorders.

You will perform polysomnographic studies, calibrate equipment, score studies, and consult with physicians to ensure accurate results and adherence to protocols. Training and quality improvement are included.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or 2 years experience above minimum.
• 2+ years experience in sleep lab or polysomnography preferred.
• Certification POLYTECH and BLS/CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting.
• Score studies and prepare reports for physicians.
• Calibrate and maintain sleep lab equipment; ensure infection control.
• Educate patients and families regarding sleep disorders and treatments.
• Train new sleep lab staff and participate in quality improvement.
