Job summary

Gillette Children’s sleep center is seeking an On-Call/Casual Polysomnographic Technologist II to join our St. Paul campus team. The role involves performing polysomnography, patient care, and education under physician direction while maintaining accurate documentation.

This position offers a flexible, on-call schedule with variable hours and shift differentials. Candidate must hold RPSGT or RST with at least one year of clinical sleep experience and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Polysomnography program of at least one year and state/national certification.
• Current BRPT/RPSGT certification or equivalent.
• Current CPR (BLS Healthcare Providers) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services under physician supervision.
• Provide patient care and education for sleep testing.
• Document results accurately in real time.
• Respond to changing patient priorities with appropriate urgency.
• Maintain high-quality testing outcomes and reduce waste through efficiency.
• Demonstrate accuracy, efficiency, and timely task completion.
