Job summary

Phoenix Children’s in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Polysomnographic Tech II to perform sleep studies and provide leadership to Tech I and students. The role requires BRPT credentials, RPSGT certification, and BLS, with duties spanning diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services, patient education, and independent work.

The Tech II will mentor others, support supervision, and help ensure high-quality care in the Sleep Lab, aligning with the department's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Preference for ABRET/AASM accredited END program or equivalent.
• Two years of PSG experience in a patient care environment.
• Credential in polysomnography (RPSGT) from BRPT.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures appropriate to the competence and credentials of an RPSGT.
• Maintains continuing education and competencies; acquires new competencies relative to industry standards in Sleep Medicine and sleep studies as an RPSGT.
• Participates in mentoring, demonstrating, and tutoring Tech I and students
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
