Job summary

Rest Assured Sleep Labs DBA Mountain Sleep and Respiratory in Asheville, NC seeks a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RSPGT) to perform comprehensive sleep testing and analysis under supervision. You will prepare equipment, apply sensors, monitor data, and assist with PAP titration and reports.

The role requires an RPSGT certification, BLS, and a minimum 6 months as a polysomnography trainee. Strong interpersonal skills and safety awareness are essential in this clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; two-year degree required for RSPGT.
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program (≥2 years).
• Minimum 6 months as a Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency.
• RPSGT Certification and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and apply electrodes and sensors for testing.
• Perform data acquisition and monitor tracing quality.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events using standard guidelines.
• Provide patient education and safety interventions as needed.
