Job summary

ProMedica’s Bay Park Hospital Sleep Center is seeking a Polysomn Care Assistant to assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment for patients of all ages, including systems used for recording EKG, POX and EEG.

You will provide education on sleep-related processes and home care equipment, while performing duties under the Sleep Center leadership and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This role involves nights and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• If not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, evidence of enrollment to obtain sleep credential is needed.
• Must obtain sleep credential within one year of hire.
• BLS certification.

Job Summary

You will provide educational needs of patients on disease specific process, including instruction for home care equipment.

You will perform your duties and responsibility under the supervision of the Sleep Center leadership team and understand and act in accordance with all Sleep Center and Hospital Policy and Procedures.
