Job summary

ProMedica's Monroe Regional Hospital Sleep Center in Monroe, LA seeks a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. You will perform routine and complex sleep studies, including CPAP/Bi-level titrations, split-night and REM studies, and related diagnostics, ensuring patient safety and high-quality data.

The role requires at least 12 months in polysomnography and eligibility for RPSGT certification; a 2-year commitment qualifies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in Polysomnography.
• RPSGT – certification expected within 6 months of hire if not already certified.
• Completion of A-Step online modules or Sleep Training Program options.
• Completion of ENDP or related Sleep Technology certification tracks.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Perform routine and complex sleep studies (CPAP, Bi-level, split-night).
• Conduct REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, PSG recordings, and oxygen titrations.

Job Summary:

$20,000 Sign on Bonus for external candidates with a 2 year commitment

As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

In this role, you will perform all interventions/procedures in a sleep study including routine, non-routine and complex recordings such as CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, seizure studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG recordings and Oxygen titrations.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography

• RPSGT – Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, if not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Registration may be obtained in one of the following ways within 6 months of hire:

• Completes the A-Step online modules

• Completes a CAAHCP accredited Sleep Training Program

• Completes an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program

• Completes a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology Certification: BCLS at time of hire.
