Polysomnographic Technologist
to join our sleep lab team on a PRN basis during night shifts. If you are passionate about helping others and possess the skills listed below, we invite you to apply!Key Responsibilities : Conduct and perform polysomnographic testing.Prepare patients both physically and psychologically for testing procedures, offering emotional support throughout the process.Document patient interactions and responses accurately.Provide thorough discharge instructions to patients after tests.Prepare complete test results for interpretation by medical professionals.Maintain a clean and organized exam room for procedures.Ensure equipment is well-maintained and notify the Clinical Coordinator of any repairs or supply needs.Participate in training and orientation of new staff members.Maintain performance standards and communicate opportunities for improvement within the care delivery team.Qualifications : A diploma or degree in Polysomnographic Technology.Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or at least one year of relevant experience.Tennessee State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist.BLS certification required.Work Environment : Work in our state-of-the-art Sleep Center equipped with advanced technology, including CPAP, pulse oximetry, and computerized testing equipment.
