Position Summary:
A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform all duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide oversight of other sleep center staff. The Polysomnographic Technologist is credentialed in Sleep Technology and will effectively manage care of patients across the age continuum from pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
