Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking a full-time Polysomnographic Technologist in Winchester, TN. You will conduct sleep diagnostic procedures, ensure patient safety, and educate patients on sleep disorders. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. How You'll Contribute

• Performs a variety of sleep diagnostic procedures, including PSG, MSLT, titrations for CPAP, MWT procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols.
• Functions as the first‑line interface with customers to meet service needs.
• Participates in CQI activities.
• Prepares for the patient’s arrival by setting up and preparing equipment for the ordered test.
• Interviews patients to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
• Performs testing and any additional testing required for noted sleep disorders.
• Scores, interprets, and reports results of sleep studies.
• Educates patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources.
• Prepares, calibrates, repairs, and maintains equipment required for testing.
• Determines and reports needed repairs and replacements.

About the Facility

Highpoint Health – Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas provides comprehensive, high‑quality care to Southern Middle Tennessee. The 157‑bed facility includes 131 licensed acute care beds, 26 skilled nursing beds, a sleep lab, cardiac catheterization lab, intensive care unit, psychiatric unit, and acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. It is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services.

Highpoint Health – Sewanee with Ascension Saint Thomas, located on the campus of the University of the South, is a 41‑bed facility offering general acute care and skilled nursing beds, a 4‑bay emergency department, and strong community connections.
