Responsibilities include performing overnight studies, monitoring patients, scoring results, and maintaining equipment and records. The position requires strong patient care, communication skills, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active RPSGT credential required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Prior sleep lab or clinical experience.
• Ability to work independently and remain attentive overnight.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Proficiency with sleep study equipment and scoring software.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies per protocol and physician orders.
• Prepare patients for sleep studies and apply monitoring equipment.
• Monitor patients overnight, ensuring safety and data accuracy.
• Identify sleep-related events and physiological changes.
• Score sleep studies and document findings per AASM guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain sleep lab equipment.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
