Job summary

Cedars-Sinai, a world-class medical group in Southern California, is seeking a Sleep Technologist to support sleep studies and PSG scoring under direct supervision of a sleep medicine physician. You will help set up home sleep testing devices and ensure accurate data collection for quality patient care.

The role emphasizes patient education, proper equipment calibration, and adherence to laboratory protocols to deliver artifact-free signals and reliable polysomnographic results.

Qualifications

• ABRET EEG Certification is required.
• CA BRPT license and/or Respiratory Care Practitioner license in California.
• 1+ year of PSG experience and home sleep study scoring recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sleep studies under supervision of sleep medicine physician.
• Oversee home sleep study logistics and scoring of home sleep tests.
• Collect and analyze patient information to meet patient-specific needs.
• Determine testing parameters with ordering physician and protocols.
• Explain procedures and orient patients for sleep testing.
• Calibrate equipment and apply electrodes/sensors per standards; monitor quality.
