Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience performing sleep studies.

• Demonstrate teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts and physician orders; clarify orders with medical staff.
• Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment prior to patient arrival.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure proper indications for CPAP and Oxygen therapy.
• Monitor sleep studies, note events, and adjust equipment as needed.
• Score polysomnograms and related tests per guidelines.
• Prepare summarization reports and maintain accurate patient records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy; uphold infection control procedures.
• Stay current with polysomnographic techniques and updates in sleep medicine.
• Attend meetings and participate in case conferences.
