Kootenai Health in Idaho offers a full-time Sleep Technologist student position under supervision to provide comprehensive diagnostic sleep services, including in-lab PSG and home sleep apnea testing, with hands-on training toward the RPSGT credential.
You will perform diagnostic tests such as CPAP titrations, participate in quality improvements, and ensure patient safety and education. Candidates pursuing BRPT credentials with BLS are preferred.
As a student, this position works under the general supervision of the facility medical director and a Registered Sleep Technologist to provide quality and comprehensive diagnostic sleep services. Includes the evaluation of sleep disorders through both in lab and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. This position will complete hands‑on training and clinical experience required to be eligible to sit for the registry exam for Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) — the gold standard in sleep technology.
