Job summary

CharterCARE Health Partners in Providence, RI is seeking a Polysomnographer to evaluate, administer and monitor sleep studies in the Sleep Disorder Center. The successful candidate will support diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in a specialized setting.

The ideal applicant has completed a polysomnographic technology program, BRPT certification or eligibility for the RPSGT exam, and at least one year of experience; BLS is preferred. This is an on-site position at a Sleep Disorder Center.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, administer and monitor polysomnographic procedures for patients.

About this position

Summary: Evaluates, administers, and monitors a wide variety of therapeutic and diagnostic Polysmnographic procedures to patients with various sleep disorders in the Sleep Disorder Center.

Education: At least a high school education with the completion of a polysmnographic technology program, preferred. BLS is preferred. Must be board registered by Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or registry eligible for the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) exam.

Experience: One year of prior experience as a Polysomnography Technician is required.
