Electrical District No. 3 (ED3) is seeking a Poly Phase Meter Technician Apprentice or Poly Phase Meter Technician to perform installation, testing, calibration, and repair of watt-hour meters and related equipment.

The role includes single-phase and polyphase metering systems, AMI equipment, CTs/PTs, and associated metering components. Placement depends on qualifications and may progress from apprentice to journey-level technician.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a Certified Metering Apprenticeship Program or equivalent journey-level experience.

Aufgaben

• Install, test, calibrate, and repair electric watt-hour revenue meters and related equipment.
• Install, test and maintain single-phase and polyphase metering systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot AMI systems and related equipment.
• Program, commission, inspect, and verify proper operation of new metering equipment.
• Demonstrate safety and accurate data handling while performing duties.
