Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Polyolefins Asset Manager to maximize profitability and asset utilization across HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, PP, and related products in NA. You will optimize reactor assets, lead cross-functional decisions, and drive long-range asset planning with a focus on cost reduction and value creation.

The role requires deep technical and commercial insight, leadership of cross-functional teams, and the ability to translate market strategies into operating plans for sustained asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical field is required.
• 15+ years of professional experience in polymer manufacturing or commercial roles preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office, SAP, Power BI and Business Warehouse.
• Demonstrated leadership and cross functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Product profitability and optimization across multiple polymers and assets.
• Determine economic asset balancing to maximize profitability and utilization.
• Lead rationalization decisions on product deletions and specifications.
• Review product mix, quality, and run rates with S&OP to optimize wheels.
• Shape commercial strategy with leadership on product strategies.
• Maintain and use optimization tools including Monte Carlo simulations.
• Own long term asset value optimization and inventory/product wheel tools.
• Coordinate asset loading plans balancing business needs and capabilities.
