Job summary

Celanese seeks a Reclaim Coordinator for the Polymer Department to optimize cutter utilization and reclaim processes while minimizing scrap sent to external processors. You will collaborate with the 24/7 plant team, the scheduling specialist, and the polymer department to ensure effective tracking of polymer scrap and reclaim.

The role requires detail orientation, strong computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including reporting and data interpretation, within the framework

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Knowledge of polymer operations preferred.
• Strong computer skills including spreadsheets and SAP.
• Good written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management.
• Experience with report writing and data interpretation.
• Understanding of 5S and visual factory techniques.
• Familiarity with site policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with site services leader and production team captains to refine manufacturing procedures and systems for tracking all polymer scrap and reclaim.
• Reduce the overall level of scrap by maximizing reclaim utilization.
• Improve or establish tracking of materials for scrap and reclaim film/polymers.
• Improve 5S and visual factory conditions where reclaim and scrap are stored and processed.
• Coordinate the movement and storage of reclaimed products considering production schedules, staffing, and equipment availability.
• Proficient use of SAP system for keeping track of materials and inventories.
• Responsible for running reports as needed
• Personally accountable to work safe and promote site core values.
