Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Research & Development Manager for polymer-based construction products in Atlanta, GA. This role builds R&D capability across chemistry, engineering and materials science to advance primers, coatings, membranes, sealants and adhesives.

You will lead a team to develop high-performance products, connect customer needs to formulation, plan projects, and mentor engineers and chemists while delivering new solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in materials science, engineering, or chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Experience connecting customer needs to product formulation.
• Analytical and physical testing experience characterizing polymer systems.
• Experience in construction industry practices.
• Product development expertise with 5–15 years’ experience using standard PM processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to develop new and improved polymer-based products.
• Drive R&D programs across chemistry, engineering, and materials science.
• Translate customer needs into robust product formulations and performance targets.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines, mentoring engineers and chemists.
