Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 4–6 years experience in materials science with an emphasis in polymers.
• Solid understanding of polymeric material fundamentals and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to projects and manufacturing processes related to materials.
• Provide material consultation for material selection and data interpretation.
• Develop polymer compounds and evaluate rheology and properties to meet requirements.
• Design test plans and lead validation/testing for material qualification.
• Interface with suppliers, generate technical reports, and present findings.
