Job summary

Carlisle Companies Incorporated is hiring for a Machine Operator in Tooele, UT. The role runs 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional overtime based on business needs.

You will operate machinery in the production department, perform TPM and safety duties, and help maintain quality and efficiency across the line. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with forklift certification possible.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail.
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Basic computer, mathematics, and problem-solving skills; ability to use a calculator.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate a forklift (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery in the production department.
• Performs hazard-based functions including lockout/tagout and daily equipment inspection (TPM).
• Stacks, sorts, and bundles material per standard work.
• Records data for quality control and improvement functions.
• Meets production goals while complying with safety requirements.
• Assists with quality checks and other duties as assigned.
