Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a manufacturing operator to run shredding, grinding, extrusion, and pelletizing equipment for recycled polyethylene. You will monitor line performance, adjust parameters, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

You will document process forms, troubleshoot issues, perform basic maintenance, and train colleagues as needed. This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic computer functions and data entry.
• Strong problem solving and ability to troubleshoot process issues.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain administrative forms for the recycle process.
• Keep machine settings within SOP parameters.
• Operate recycle line safely and meet output targets.
• Ensure proper feed of scrap material for coloration and properties.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Report non-conforming product.
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance and document.
• Train and assist coworkers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.
