Job summary

INEOS Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, TX is seeking a Polyethylene Process Control Engineer to support day-to-day DCS operations and process control optimization. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, applying advanced control strategies to polyethylene and utilities areas, ensuring safety and process efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, multiple years in polymers or similar processes, and experience with Honeywell DCS and advanced process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Polymers manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with Honeywell DCS control technology and multivariable control technologies.
• Advanced process control applications experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day process control support for operation unit.
• Troubleshoot process, process alarm, DCS and process control network issues.
• Preparation and support for unit shutdowns, turnarounds, and start-ups.
• Regulatory and advanced control loop tuning.
• Daily process performance monitoring (quality, environment, energy, etc.).
• Lead process control improvement projects and capital project support.
