Job summary

United Protective Services is seeking a polished Security Lobby Officer in Houston, TX 77042. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers a daytime schedule and a competitive hourly rate.

You will greet clients, assist tenants and visitors, monitor lobby activity, and support site security while representing the company at a client-facing office property. The ideal candidate communicates confidently, maintains a professional appearance, and delivers excellent customer service in a busy lobby

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, tenants, visitors, and building personnel.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations.
• Experience in security, concierge, hospitality, front desk, or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and welcoming security presence in the building lobby.
• Greet and assist clients, tenants, visitors, and employees professionally.
• Monitor lobby activity and awareness of individuals entering/exiting the property.
• Provide directions and general assistance to visitors and building occupants.
• Follow site security, access-control, and visitor-management procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to questions, concerns, incidents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, property management, and United Protective Services leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Maintain an organized and professional security post.
• Follow all company/site policies and procedures.
