United Protective Services is seeking a full-time Security Officer for a Downtown Houston highrise. The role emphasizes customer service, greeting visitors, and enforcing post orders with vigilant security procedures.

Candidates should maintain a professional image, document daily activities, and collaborate with local emergency services as needed. This position is 2nd and 3rd shift with various weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and able to greet visitors with a friendly demeanor.
• Able to maintain professional image and provide excellent service to clients and visitors.
• Must be able to follow post orders and security procedures as required by United Protective Services.

Responsibilities

• Enforce building/property rules.
• Follow site/client Post Duties.
• Report unsafe activity and vandalism.
• Maintain daily activity logs per post orders.
• Create incident reports for on-site events.
• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and accounted for before, during and after shifts.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; work outside in the elements.
