Job summary

Mate academy in Poland seeks a Student Coordinator to support learners through their studies and employment preparation. You will onboard new students, manage chats, resolve issues, and coordinate with mentors and the partnerships team to help students secure job opportunities.

You’ll work with Slack, CRM, and analytics, communicating in English with the international team while using Polish for local interactions; this role is open to candidates based in Poland.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Recruitment / Teaching or Tutoring / Project Management / Coordination/ HR / Customer Service.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to explain complex things simply.
• Ability to learn quickly and work both in a team and independently.
• Proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes; comfortable with repetitive tasks.
• Empathy for students and ability to manage conflicts.
• Strong time management and consistency.
• General understanding of IT market and readiness to learn basic technologies, tools, and approaches.
• English at Upper-Intermediate+ level and fluent Polish.

Responsibilities

• Take care of students throughout their studying flow: onboard new students in chats and at weekly onboarding meetings; communicate and solve organizational problems.
• Gather and analyze student feedback to suggest changes to the product.
• Help prepare students for employment and accompany them on their journey: review CVs, LinkedIn, Cover Letters; conduct mock interviews; coordinate with partnerships team to assist in securing jobs.
• Support processes in existing and upcoming courses.
• Conduct webinars and public speeches (online).
• Work with Slack, CRM, the task manager, and basic analytics.
