Job summary

K&L Gates seeks a midlevel Insurance Recovery and Counseling Associate for our Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate has substantial experience counseling policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, including arbitrations, and can work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academics.
• Admission to state bar in good standing or able to be admitted promptly.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in insurance coverage/lidigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and represent policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, including arbitrations.
• Collaborate with Pittsburgh office team in Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice.
• Analyze insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage frameworks to support cases.
