Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team seeks a Policy Team Lead to guide a contractor team delivering policy support to the CIO for a government customer in the Northern Virginia area. You will oversee contractual, technical, engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts and coordinate with government customers on technical execution and project issues.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, extensive project management experience, and expertise in policy-related IT

Qualifications

• CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
• Requires four years of experience as a project manager.
• Experience providing technical support materials for senior leaders such as strategic papers, options analyses, executive briefings.
• Experience overseeing or guiding portfolio/program performance, resource planning.
• Experience with acquisition/procurement strategy to include vendor management and enterprise licensing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, or related technical field and 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan and direct the execution of the contractual, technical, engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative efforts of the team.
• Brief leadership on program progress, status, and achievement of milestones.
• Be the primary interface customer(s) on technical and project issues.
• Maintain awareness of the customer’s mission and any potential impacts to that mission.
