Job summary

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) seeks a Research and Policy Project Analyst to independently coordinate and manage Million Dollar Hoods initiatives. You will develop project plans, monitor timelines, and serve as the primary contact for assigned initiatives, collaborating with faculty, community partners, researchers, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal and writing skills, and a working knowledge of LA County

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education.
• Interpersonal skills to develop cordial working relationships with university administrators and staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Knowledge of the Million Dollar Hoods, Luskin School of Public Affairs & Bunche Center's goals and objectives.
• Strong writing skills and ability to present ideas logically.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage research and policy initiatives for Million Dollar Hoods.
• Develop and monitor project plans, timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and meetings.
• Prepare project reports and summaries; act as primary point of contact for assigned initiatives.
• Publicly speak on behalf of projects and liaise with diverse partners.
