Job summary

The Colorado State Patrol’s Policy and Research unit seeks a Policy Advisor III to research, author CALEA-compliant policies, and develop agency forms and reports to support accreditation and operations.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensure directives meet legal and organizational standards, and contribute to CALEA accreditation efforts while supporting staff services goals.

Qualifications

• Proficient in researching and drafting directives and policies.
• Ability to ensure CALEA compliance and alignment with current best practices.
• Experience partnering with internal stakeholders to present unified directives.
