Job summary

Iberdrola SA's Connecticut program manager will lead coordination of strategic clean energy policy and regulatory initiatives for AVANGRID's UI, SCG, and CNG. You will drive electrification, grid modernization, and decarbonization programs while engaging internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role requires developing strategic analyses, executive presentations, and regulatory comments, while monitoring DEEP and PURA proceedings and coordinating with lawmakers and industry groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Business, Economics, or related field and 8+ years in utility regulation or related energy disciplines.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy to implementation with measurable results.
• Proven ability to develop business cases and support regulatory decision-making.
• Experience communicating strategies to executives and external stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating regulatory filings, testimony, and regulatory strategy execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and strategic support for DEEP, PURA, and legislative initiatives affecting UI, SCG, and CNG.
• Manage participation in CES and statewide decarbonization initiatives and grid modernization.
• Develop analyses, executive briefings, comments, and testimony support for regulatory matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impacts on company strategy and customers.
• Build relationships with DEEP, PURA, and industry stakeholders; lead cross-functional projects.
