Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with ≥4 years of relevant energy policy or strategy experience.
• Master’s degree with ≥2 years experience (ok).
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Comfort with ambiguity and solving complex problems.
• Experience in regulated utilities, energy policy, or corporate strategy.
• Familiarity with New York energy policy and regulatory landscape (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy across energy efficiency, building electrification, and non-pipes options.
• Analyze trends in energy policy, rate structures, and disadvantaged community programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, utilities, regulators, and contractors to align on clean energy initiatives.
• Prepare regulatory filings with data gathering, analysis, and narrative documentation.
• Represent Con Edison in industry working groups and policy discussions.
• Create advocacy materials such as presentations, briefing notes, and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to rate case strategy, proposals, and regulatory positioning.
• Support stakeholder engagement to advance clean energy goals.
• Participate in emergency response assignments when required.
• Travel within service territory and to Albany, New York as needed.
