Xcel Energy in Amarillo, Texas, is offering an internship with the SPS Policy Team to support Resource Filings. You will help develop data for CCN filings in Texas and New Mexico and assist in creating maps and affidavits for SAE, 440, and MBA across Texas and New Mexico with a diverse team.

The role is a May 31, 2027 start, with potential extension based on performance and business needs. Strong communication and MS Office skills are preferred; hybrid in-person work is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum requirements include being a current student, junior or higher as of Fall 2027.
• Enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a relevant degree.
• Able to work full-time during summer and part-time during the school year.

• Research policies and rules in New Mexico and Texas related to CCN filings.
• Assist in preparing maps, tables, and charts for SAE, 440 and MBA filings.
• Manage large data files for Regulatory and Subject Matter Expert Teams.
• Review, edit, and format draft documents for filing.
• Assist in online filing of documents for Commission review.
