Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, or 12+ years in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of professional experience in government affairs, public advocacy and/or communications
• Strong knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures
• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities; knowledge of federal or state law

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory affairs activity in contested cases before state utility commissions.
• Prepare regulatory advocacy materials including briefs, analysis, testimony, and position papers.
• Coordinate with retail and commercial teams and industry groups to support regulatory advocacy and fair-rate designs.
• Monitor commission meetings and share retail/commercial info with policy teams.
• Develop data center tariff insights and tools with internal departments.
• Represent the company at conferences and regulatory meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department VP or Director.
