Job summary

Hiscox seeks a Policy Operations Specialist in Boston to ensure accurate, timely policy servicing across the policy lifecycle, including midterm changes, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and maintenance. This role sits in Corix Operations and reports to the Policy Operations Manager.

You will drive process improvements, support cross-functional initiatives and partner with underwriting to deliver exceptional servicing to brokers and clients.

The Role:

The Policy Operations Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient execution of policy administration activities across the policy lifecycle. This role is responsible for executing broker and client servicing requests, including midterm policy changes, cancellations, renewals, and ongoing policy maintenance needs.

As Corix continues to scale, this role will also contribute to operational improvements by supporting workflow enhancements, documentation, and cross-functional initiatives that increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across Policy Operations.

The Team:

Corix Operations is responsible for the execution, accuracy, and continuous improvement of core operational processes that support the policy lifecycle. The team partners closely with Underwriting, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless servicing experience for brokers and clients while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

This role sits within Corix Operations and reports directly to the Policy Operations Manager, serving as a hands-on executor and key support partner for both day-to-day servicing and future-state process improvements.

Critical Technical Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented operational environment
• 1+ year of experience in an insurance-related servicing, policy administration, or operations role

Salary:

Salary: $50-$70k

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
