Job summary

The role focuses on eliciting requirements, gap analyses, mapping logic between source and target systems, testing, and delivering creative migration solutions across policy administration systems for Life, Annuity, and Disability Income products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a business analysis role, ideally supporting policy administration system conversions or large-scale data migrations.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical liaison between business partners, policy administration system vendors, and IT/ETL development teams.
• 2+ years of Agile project delivery experience.
• Strong analytical background with experience analyzing and reconciling policy or financial data.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and define business and/or system scope and objectives for policy conversion workstreams.
• Devise or modify conversion rules and mapping logic for legacy source systems and the target policy administration platform.
• Provide analysis of business needs and translate requirements for extraction, ETL, or target system conversion logic.
• Guide and advise less-experienced Business Analysts on conversion workstreams.
• Understand technical dependencies across the conversion process and help envision creative migration solutions.
