Overview
Senior Business Data Analyst - Insurance Domain. Warren, NJ / Remote (US). Long Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement comprehensive data migration strategies to facilitate smooth transitions between systems.
- Oversee the entire data migration process, including data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and loading (ETL / ELT).
- Identify potential data migration risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Insurance domain to align data migration efforts with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the P&C insurance domain with a focus on data migration projects.
- 5+ years experience with insurance products, underwriting, claims, and regulatory requirements.
- 7+ years experience in data migration tools and techniques, with experience in ETL processes.
- 7-10 years experience as a consultant with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience & Tools
- Policy Administration: Quoting, rating, underwriting, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. Tools: Guidewire PolicyCenter, Duck Creek.
- Billing Management: Managed the entire billing and collections cycle. Integrations: ERP systems, financial reporting tools.
- Claims Management: Supported intake, triage, segmentation, loss assessment, and settlement. Technologies: NLP, OCR, ML for fraud detection and predictive analytics. Tools: ClaimCenter, RPA bots, virtual chatbots.
- Reinsurance, Data & Analytics, Integration & Ecosystem considerations.
