Position Information:
Job Title: Policy Manager - ISO
Location: Orange, CT or Augusta, ME
Salary Range: $111,500 - $153,300, depending on experience and location.
Schedule: On Site - Office
Job Summary
The Policy Manager – ISO-NE is the Company’s primary leader, communicator and coordinator for ISO/regional energy policy and stakeholder processes in New England (ISO-NE, NEPOOL). The Policy Manager - ISO plays a key role in helping the Company achieve implementation of its clean energy strategy by working with Company leadership to identify and advance favorable ISO and regional energy policies/positions externally via stakeholder processes and other venues as appropriate. Specifically, this role is focused on the development, communication, and advocacy of Company transmission policy/positions in New England. The Policy Manager - ISO must develop key business relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders, regulators, other utilities, and Company leadership. The Policy Manager – ISO will also be the Company’s primary subject matter expert on ISO tariffs and processes. Frequent travel to regional stakeholder and other meetings in-person in New England is required.
