A leading sustainable energy company seeks a Program Manager for their Policy/Regs & Markets team. This role focuses on advocating for market policies across the eastern and midwestern U.S., requiring an engineering or economics background and extensive experience in public policy development. The successful candidate will engage with various stakeholders to influence regulatory frameworks beneficial to the company’s objectives.

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $145,260 to $181,575
Location Note: Job can be done remotely but would require travel to Indiana on a regular basis and potentially weekly.
Job Description
The Manager of Markets and Regulatory Affairs will lead the development and advocacy of market and regulatory policy for Avangrid Power, focusing on wholesale power markets and state regulatory agencies across the eastern and midwestern United States. Acting as Avangrid’s representative, this position will shape policies that drive commercial opportunities while gathering, analyzing, and sharing critical market intelligence with internal teams. The successful candidate will actively engage in RTO/ISO stakeholder communities, state regulatory matters, and FERC proceedings.
