Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior program manager to support Embedded Labs engagements from design to implementation. You will contribute to technical delivery, support MEL efforts, and help translate research into actionable policy insights.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multi-country projects with NGO/government partners. International travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years analyzing and communicating complex research results to diverse audiences.
• Experience with NGOs or governments, preferably in LMIC contexts.
• Knowledge of rigorous evidence for international development policy.
• Strong quantitative skills for understanding research studies.
• Experience leading teams to draw policy lessons from research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and project management support to Embedded Labs engagements from design through implementation.
• Contribute directly to the technical delivery of Lab opportunities.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts for the program.
• Assess progress and impact and establish best practices for government engagement.
• Support knowledge management and training efforts; develop onboarding materials.
• Generate knowledge outputs such as case studies and toolkits; disseminate outputs externally.
