Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Policy Principal – Enabling Building Electrification & Affordability for the United States. This fully remote role focuses on advancing energy policy, utility regulation, and advocacy to promote electrified, affordable, and resilient buildings across the country.

You will collaborate with state and regional teams, stakeholders, and policymakers to shape legislation, regulatory proceedings, and administrative strategies, addressing gas transition planning, clean heat

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–6 years of policy experience, with at least 2 years in clean energy or utility policy.
• Foundational understanding of utility regulation and state energy policy.

Responsibilities

• Advance energy policy and advocacy across states to accelerate building electrification and affordability.
• Support legislative and regulatory initiatives with state legislatures, utility commissions, and agencies.
• Draft regulatory comments, testimony, briefs, and public materials to explain complex policy issues clearly.
• Build relationships with internal teams, coalitions, policymakers, and stakeholders to achieve policy goals.
• Support coalitions and stakeholder engagement, organize educational sessions, and facilitate discussions with decision-makers.
