Job summary

International Game Technology seeks a seasoned People Policy & Compliance Specialist to harmonize HR policies and the employee handbook across legacy IGT and Everi during a major integration.

You will compare, reconcile, and redraft policies into a single, clear, compliant framework, then draft a unified handbook aligned with the combined company\'s culture and values. This is a hybrid, temporary role through December 2026.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HR policy, employee relations, or HR generalist work with policy writing experience.
• Experience developing compliant policies at federal, state, and global levels and securing leadership alignment.
• Comfortable using AI to accelerate policy work while reviewing outputs critically.
• M&A or integration experience in harmonizing HR policies.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment and leave law across multiple states.
• Exceptional plain-language writing and ability to explain complex policy clearly.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across HR, Legal, and business.

Responsibilities

• Build the policy inventory across legacy entities and identify gaps.
• Compare and reconcile policies, handbook, and leave programs for harmonization.
• Leverage AI tools to generate first-draft harmonized language and refine it.
• Draft the unified handbook aligned to the combined culture and values.
• Harmonize time-away programs and attendance policies with impact modeling.
• Drive alignment by socializing recommendations with stakeholders and obtaining sign-off.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements in the U.S. footprint.
• Develop manager guidance and employee communications for rollout and adoption tracking.
• Support broader compliance work and data gathering for audits as needed.
