Job summary

IGT seeks a seasoned People Policy & Compliance Specialist to harmonize HR policies across legacy IGT and Everi, creating a single, clear handbook. The hybrid role supports a temporary engagement through Dec 2026, with a focus on AI-assisted drafting, policy validation, and compliance across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in HR policy, employee relations, or HR generalist work, including hands-on policy writing and handbook development.
• Experience developing compliant policies at state, federal, and global levels and securing leadership alignment.
• Comfortable using AI to accelerate policy work while applying human judgment on compliance.
• M&A or integration experience shaping HR policies during mergers or reorganizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build policy inventory across legacy IGT and Everi and flag missing policies.
• Compare and reconcile policies, handbook, and leave/time-off programs in a side-by-side view.
• Load policies into AI tools to generate first-draft harmonized language and refine for compliance.
• Draft a unified, plain-language employee handbook aligned to the combined company.
• Harmonize time-away programs and model impact of options before decisions.
• Drive alignment with HR, Legal, and leadership and secure sign-off.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements across the U.S. footprint.
• Roll out policies with manager guidance and employee communications and track adoption.
• Support broader compliance work and data gathering for audits as needed.
