Job summary

Cornell University Library seeks a Government & Public Policy Librarian to liaison with the Department of Government and the Brooks School of Public Policy. You will plan, provide, and assess a wide range of in-person and digital research and instruction services.

Responsibilities include selecting materials for government and social science collections and developing services to help researchers discover data and government documents.

Qualifications

• Master’s in library and/or information science from an ALA-accredited program or related discipline.
• Five+ years of relevant professional experience in higher education libraries.
• Ability to build relationships with students, scholars, and colleagues.
• Experience locating data, government documents, and scholarly literature for researchers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to the Cornell Department of Government and the Brooks School of Public Policy.
• Contribute to planning, delivering, and assessing research and instruction services.
• Select materials for government, public policy, and social science collections.
• Develop resources and services to help researchers discover data and government documents.
