TensorWave is seeking a Government Affairs Intern to explore policy and industry dynamics as the company expands its AI compute platform across the United States. You will conduct legislative research, map government partners, and prepare briefing materials for leadership.

The role emphasizes learning, proactive participation in team activities, and exposure to government meetings and industry events while supporting ongoing department operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Interest in government, public policy, technology/infrastructure, or economic development.
• Strong researcher and communicator who can organize information and explain findings clearly.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using MS Office or Google Workspace and eager to learn new tools.
• Curious, proactive, dependable, and willing to ask questions and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Monitor federal, state, and local legislation related to AI, data centers, energy, and economic development.
• Research government agencies, economic development organizations, officials, and community partners in target markets.
• Prepare concise policy summaries, stakeholder profiles, meeting materials, and presentations.
• Support market research on prospective markets and local government structures.
• Help maintain stakeholder databases, legislative trackers, project updates, and tools.
• Participate in team meetings and, when opportunities arise, attend government meetings and events.
