Responsibilities

• Advocate for the City’s legislative priorities at local, state, and federal levels.
• Monitor legislation, committee activity, and policy developments.
• Draft legislative communications, correspondence, and briefing materials.
• Build relationships with elected officials, agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, testimony, and public engagement efforts.
• Research and track state and federal funding opportunities.
• Staff the Mayor at community events and Capitol functions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
