Google LLC’s YouTube Trust & Safety team in Mountain View, CA seeks a Policy Development Lead to shape global policy initiatives across products. You will work with cross-functional partners to identify risks and develop policy standards that promote user trust and safety at Google speed.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in policy or Trust & Safety, with experience collaborating with global teams and leveraging AI tools to inform policy decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust and Safety, or technology environment.
• Experience working with global teams and communicating with stakeholders cross-functionally.
• Experience using AI tools in a policy or trust and safety context.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and update our global policies focusing on policy requirements for harmful and dangerous activities, suicide and self-harm, graphic violence and other areas.
• Identify policy issues that may affect Google and understand their impact, and manage high-impact policy escalations and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and implement product policies and standards.
• Work cross-functionally to develop and launch products that promote user trust and uphold Google’s policies.
• Incorporate AI tools into core work, and understand the use and impact of AI tools in the YouTube creator ecosystem.
