Common Cause is seeking a Policy Director & Counsel to shape policy and legal strategy across national campaigns. You will lead research, draft proposals and comments, supervise policy staff, and coordinate with coalitions to advance civil rights and pro-democracy objectives.

The role is full-time and remote-eligible across the lower 48 states, with a preference for DC-area presence two days per week. Start in February with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal review of bills, testimony, and model legislation.
• Engage in coalition building and spokesperson activities for the organization.
